Mission GenesisConnecting mechanical systems with human space.
Mission Genesis brings together my industrial-design and mechanical-engineering background. The team explored a modular lunar mobility and habitation system; my contribution focused on its chassis and habitation-module interiors.
At a glance
- The problem
- Mobility and living functions had to fit within a constrained modular system.
- My contribution
- Developed the chassis and habitation-module interiors as part of a team.
- The outcome
- ASU Design Excellence team award; presented at Milan Design Week 2025.

The problem & my role
Mobility, living functions and limited physical space needed to work as one coherent system. The design had to balance mechanical constraints with the way a person moves, reaches, stores equipment and occupies the interior.
What I owned
I developed the chassis and the interiors of the habitation module. My work connected structural considerations with interior spatial experience and usability within the team’s modular system.

Key design decisions
Relate the chassis and habitation interior to the larger mobility and living concept.
Outcome & reflection
The team received the ASU Design Excellence Award, and the project was presented at Milan Design Week 2025.
Recognition belongs to the team. The contribution map describes my scope; it is not a technical drawing or a rendering of the final vehicle.
What I would test next
Carry the same attention to constraints, spatial hierarchy and human use into digital interaction design.
